Light Source Building

Location: Berkeley Contract Amount: $1,850,000 General Contractor: Overaa Construction Description: Construction of a building at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory to house an atomic accelerator used to move a beam of energy at nearly the speed of light. Included lighting and controls, a transformer substation, and a fiber optic cable backbone.

Walnut Creek Library

Construction of a new forty-five thousand square foot, two story library on top of an underground parking garage in downtown Walnut Creek. This was a “Green” building with several daylighting and dimmable lighting zones to reduce energy consumption. This building included conference and meeting rooms with state of the art audio visual systems.
